What was your first paid employment?
Right here at Elite Mobile! And I went right out and spent it on clothes and watching my beloved Stoke City.

How long have you worked for your Elite Mobile?
Exactly nine years. My sister Kelly was working for the company – still is – and got me a three-month trial.

What is the best aspect of your job?
I love the very busy periods, like the run-up to Christmas.

And what is the worst?
The very quiet periods, like after Christmas.

What will you do next?
I really enjoy working for Elite – it’s a company I see myself staying at and looking to progress with.
Suggest a sales incentive that would work for you.
Top class travel destinations with achievable targets for all the team. I’ve been fortunate enough to have won a few.

Your home is on fire and you can rescue only one thing. What is it?
My Stoke City season ticket.

What’s the first record or CD you bought? Are you still listening to it? What’s the last music you bought?
Oasis – Definitely, Maybe, Probably. I listen to it most days as it’s the best album ever. The last album I bought was Oasis’ Stop The Clocks (you’ll gather I’m a bit of a fan!).

Cats or dogs?
Dogs

Marmalade or marmite?
Marmite

Chelsea or not?
Most definitely not!

If you were a mobile phone, which would you be and why?
A Nokia 2110, because it’s a big sturdy workhorse.

Have a drink – what’s it to be?
A good old-fashioned pint of lager.

You’re designing a mobile handset for the future. What functions would it have and why?
Lottery number predictor.

What’s the question you are asked most often in the average working week?
Is that the best price you can do?

Would you watch TV on your mobile? Would you pay for it?
Definitely not. I saw a guy in a pub recently watching TV on his phone. He looked ridiculous.

If you could change anything about the mobile industry and your role in it, what would it be and why?
I can’t think of anything I’d change. I love being part of its fast pace, its constantly evolving technology and the people I work and deal with.

Which handset maker would you like to have shares in?
I’d have to say Apple.
I think the new iPhone is going to be huge.

What keeps you awake at night?
My targets.

Who inspires you and why?
David Beckham. He’s shown it’s possible for someone from the most ordinary background to make it to the top.

Who should play you in the movie of your life?
Oliver Reed if he was still alive. He was an absolute legend – and he loved a beer!

And finally … What do you think about being nominated DM of the month?
First time in nine years … about time!
