Two theatres in St Petersburg have installed mobile phone jammers to stop inconsiderate audience members ruining the performance (one actor reportedly stopped a play and shouted “Turn off that stupid phone and let me finish my soliloquy!”). Phone jamming equipment is readily available on the internet, including from UK suppliers … though Ofcom bans the use of cellular jammers here.
