Avenir managing director Tanny Price has completed the overhaul of senior management at the Borehamwood distributor with the appointment of Brian Korel as head of finance.
Korel is the first top-level external recruitment since Price took charge of Avenir in May. He joins from service provider Telecom Plus, where he was head of finance for four years. Korel has also held senior financial roles within various departments at Vodafone.
“We are lucky to have a mix of dedicated channel staff and excellent support and services,” said Price. “We are confident that Brian’s knowledge of the industry as well as a wealth of financial experience will all combine to the smooth running of Avenir.”
The recent senior management restructure, which followed former managing director Ishai Novick’s departure and Avenir’s financial year-end, is said to designed to democratise the decision-making process and help take the business forward.
