Tanla Mobile’s ...

rapid expansion has continued with a pair of exec appointments and a fresh expansion into Ireland. The Indian-owned content and messaging specialist has signed revenue sharing agreements for payments and messaging services with every Irish mobile operator including 3, O2, Meteor and Vodafone. This enables to Tanla to connect Irish media companies and brands with networks.

However, Tanla does more than just billing and it hopes to introduce Irish partners to a product suite comprising content management, 3G video service, marketing applications and reporting/CRM tools.

Tanla’s entrance into the Irish market furthers a growth strategy that has seen the publicly quoted company move into Europe, South East Asia, North America and Australia. To help drive its activities it hired Anuj Khanna from Netsize as head of marketing and Gerry Drew from Opera as head of sales.
