Vodafone has developed a free mobile recycling pack for UK businesses designed to encourage staff to recycle mobile phones, phone chargers, accessories and even installation CDs. An eye-catching campaign pack has been developed by Vodafone in partnership with Fonebak, the leading provider of mobile recycling and reuse services; it emphases reducing environmental impact, raising money for charity and providing affordable phones for people overseas.
The pack includes posters and a recycling box, and is supported by digital tools including screensavers, web banners, template emails and text messages to distribute to employees.
The scheme is limited to Vodafone devices; the network has committed to collect phones provided by any mobile operator.
