Mobile map and GPS-based application provider Wayfinder will add location aware searches later this year.
The services will offer mobile users extensive local information options from a database of businesses, restaurants, and museums in any location in Europe, the UK and North America.
Wayfinder says it’s aiming to be one of the first in the market to complete this highly personalised service for the user and ensuring a high value-add for mobile operators.
Said Magnus Nilsson, CEO of Wayfinder; “The Wayfinder suite of products and services enables mobile operators to strengthen their market proposition with a range of navigation services … Retaining customers in any market is always key and tools that boost customer retention is an avenue worth exploring".
