Following another successive year of growth, unified communications provider Communicate Better has taken the opportunity to expand their team with the creation of a new telemarketing function, to be headed up by recent recruit Jordan Smith.

Smith, whose previous posts include telemarketing manager at Manchester-based IRIS software group and customer sales manager at Talk Talk Business, is tasked with building a telemarketing team at Communicate Better to focus on lead generation, new business and cross selling opportunities to existing clients. The company is launching a recruitment drive to build the new telemarketing division following scooping the prestigious accolade of Reseller of the Year at the Comms Business Awards.

The CEO of Communicate Better, Wayne Cartwright commented “We have been after Jordan for some time now and are delighted to welcome him to our team. He has over ten years of experience in the telecoms industry and will be responsible for the recruitment and training of telemarketing executives to help further expand and add to the success story of Communicate Better”. He added that new recruits will not necessarily need previous experience in the unified communications sector.

The Swinton based company, has recently secured a number of major contracts in the North West including two major unified comms deals with car dealership Hatfields and the National Football Museum in Manchester. Vehicle management systems have also been rolled out for North Warwickshire Borough Council and Balfour Beatty at Beauly Denny in Scotland. Following the acquisition of 3 companies within the last 18 months, the company head office now employs 25 people, with the company premises themselves benefiting from a significant investment in a full on site showroom and refurbished meeting areas.

The plan for Communicate Better is to double the company turnover each year, which will be achieved through a combination of organic growth and acquisition, putting them on track to meet their target of becoming a four million pound business within four years. The new telemarketing team will have a large part to play in the success of the business moving forward.
