Adept Telecom Wins £2.5m VoIP Contract

Adept Telecom has won a 3 year VoIP migration contract worth £2.5m with one of the UK’s largest wholesalers. The contract covers 395 sites across 5 subsidiaries.

Ian Fishwick, Chief Executive said, “This is one of the largest VoIP contracts placed so far in the UK. An initial pilot covering 90 sites is anticipated to be followed by a phased roll-out of the other 300 sites. Our ability to provide SIP (with and without gateways) and Hosted, on a single network powered by BT, managed by a single web portal, was critical to our success. It is clear to me that large customers will never simply move all of their sites to VoIP one day. They will conduct trials and pilots and then gradually roll-out the new technology. This means that companies such as AdEPT who can provide both CPS/WLR and VoIP are ideally placed to handle a migration of this magnitude.

It is only a few weeks since we won one of the UK’s largest ever SIP contracts so our VoIP portfolio is absolutely on a roll. We are currently running a channel recruitment drive for VoIP businesses and we now have some awesome case studies to help you sell.”
