Aruba Unveils New Channel Strategy

Aruba Networks, a global leader in user-centric networks and secure mobility solutions, has unveiled a new channel structure in the UK that will certify resellers at platinum, gold, or silver levels based on business development opportunities, as well as provide enhanced product training

Certified resellers will have access to a specific Aruba technical support team, and will be eligible for funding for marketing and business development purposes. The new training program will help resellers implement best practices with respect to the sale, installation, and support of Aruba's solutions. As part of the new channel structure, Mayflex UK and React Technologies have been appointed as Aruba's two UK distributors.

"Our strong growth across the UK market has driven the need to enhance the channel structure," said Harry Theochari, UK channel manager at Aruba Networks. "This provided us with the opportunity to expand our support and training programs, and also to put in place a value-added distribution program that would meet the needs of our growing channel in the years ahead."

Aruba's user-centric networking securely and reliably brings enterprise applications to users wherever they work - in the office, at home, in a hotel, on the road. In a user-centric network authorised users can access the enterprise through any network from anywhere in the world. By extending the enterprise to reach all users without compromising security or convenience, Aruba is helping to redefine mobility with respect to where and how people work.

"Wireless networking is clearly a key growth area for us and the Aruba brand provides a well-respected, field-proven addition to our networking portfolio," said Kenny Presly, Sales Director at Mayflex. "As one of the UK's leading distributors of cabling infrastructure, networking and IP physical security products, we wanted to offer our partners a secure mobility solution for demanding commercial environments. Aruba products satisfy that requirement and we look forward to driving these best-in-class networking products into the market."

"Since 2003 our Aruba business has doubled every six months as the market has responded to their advanced adaptive wireless LANs and identity-based security offerings," said Jess Thompson-Hughes, Managing Director of React Technologies. "The new Aruba accreditation scheme and streamlined channel structure ensures that we can maintain that level of growth, and we welcome the opportunity to meet this demand."
