Attari Joins Exponential-e

Exponential-e has announced former KCOM exec Afshin Attari has joined the company. He takes on the role of Director of Public Sector and will lead Exponential-e’s Public Sector Business.

Attari spent nearly a decade at KCOM where in his last role he was responsible for developing, implementing and leading client management strategy across enterprise and public sector markets.

At Exponential-e, Attari is tasked with growing the company’s footprint in the public sector, where clients currently include schools, higher education institutions like Middlesex University and housing trusts like Gloucester City Homes. His remit will see him spearhead a growth campaign with particular focus on health, higher education and both central and local government.

Speaking on his appointment, Attari said there was tremendous opportunity for Exponential-e in the public sector as demand for cloud based solution grows.

“Exponential-e has a huge amount of capability in a number of areas, including connected enterprise, cloud, UC and managed services. It is an agile, young organisation that can bring innovation and adapt to the commercial models of public sector organisations, which is exactly what the sector requires,” Attari said.

“There is a huge demand for cloud services within government departments as they look to reduce costs by moving towards using application solutions and services, rather than the oversized technology contracts of yesteryear. There is also an expectation that organisations must be able to provide support and hold data within the UK and Exponential-e ticks both these boxes. I’m very excited to be a part of this company.”

Lee Wade, CEO of Exponential-e added: “I’m delighted to welcome Afshin to the Exponential-e team. He has an impressive track record working for some world-class companies and his skills and experience will prove invaluable to the entire company. The UK public sector is filled with opportunity for innovative companies like us, so the next couple of years will be crucial to further advancing our growth in this space. Afshin is the right person to lead this charge.”
