Avaya Rewards Channel Partners in Paris

A number of Avaya channel partners were recognised at the company’s EMEA BusinessPartner conference in Paris this week with distributors MTV Telecom and Westcon Convergence leading the way.

Carlos Sartorius, President of Avaya EMEA said, Avaya is leading the way in Intelligent Communications and what we have learned in our journey is that Business Partners are vital to our success.”

The Avaya Distributor of the Year Award for SMB went to Egham based MTV Telecom whilst Weston picked up the award for Enterprise distributor.

MTV Telecom Chairman Martin Hatcher, in Paris to collect the award said, “Clearly we are delighted to have been recognised by Avaya for all the hard work put in by our whole team. This is not purely about sales performance – although we have consistently grown our business year on year with Avaya but it is also about commitment to the product range.”

Sartorius echoed Hatcher’s comment when he went on to describe the new Avaya EMEA Distribution Partner Programme he launched in Paris the same day.

“While revenue volumes will still be recognised we felt it was important to further reward those distributors which achieved Avaya Certified Partner Status (ACEP) providing an appropriate learning framework for their resellers. We see this as a milestone as ACEP will allow distributors to develop a consistent and fully interactive relationship with their resellers ensuring customers receive top quality service.”

The new Avaya Distribution Program has in common with its reseller progam an objective of recognising those that bring real value to the market and will rotate around staying close to the vendor by providing weekly sales out and inventory reports as well as rolling forecasts, a customers support desk and the all important ACEP.
