Avnet’s VersaStack offering is supported by SolutionsPath, its business development methodology to help partners identify converged infrastructure opportunities and ultimately, help them deliver solution-led propositions that drive measureable results. Avnet’s further value-add comes from the unrivalled integration capabilities offered through its integration centre in Tongeren, Belgium.
Dieter Lott, vice president business development at Avnet Technology Solutions EMEA, commented, “Avnet is uniquely placed as a distributor for VersaStack, thanks to its long-established relationships and proven capabilities with Cisco and IBM. These relationships will prove equally beneficial for both suppliers, enabling them to leverage our experience of working with both parties. The addition of VersaStack to our converged and hyper-converged infrastructure portfolio strengthens our position as the leading value-added distributor in converged solutions.”
Rohail Noor, IBM VersaStack, business unit executive, Europe, explained, “We, alongside Cisco, are leading innovators in third platform and emerging technologies. Our combined offering, VersaStack, has a wealth of innovation to draw from as it develops, which will help businesses address challenges around big data analytics, mobility, the Internet of Things (IoT), social portals and cloud.”
Patrick Schmidt, director, data centre and virtualisation Cisco, EMEAR, said, “We strongly believe in collaboration between companies with a track record of success.
