Awards stack up for O-bit Telecom with Deloitte Fast 50

The awards continue to stack up for Bucks-based O-bit Telecom with the announcement of its placement on the Deloitte Fast 50 for the second year running. High Wycombe-based voice and data network provider O-bit ranks 39th on the 2009 list thanks to a phenomenal growth achievement of 829 per cent, despite facing the challenges of the recession over the past year.

The Deloitte Fast 50 is an annual ranking of Britain’s 50 fastest growing technology companies, based on a percentage revenue growth rate over five years. Companies must meet an exacting list of criteria to be eligible for entry, with fierce competition to make the grade within the industry.

“Ranking on the Deloitte Fast 50 for the second year running is a fantastic achievement for everyone at O-bit. It clearly demonstrates our ability to deliver a valuable service to the telecoms sector, which has been key to our growth,” states Dave Breith, CEO of O-bit. “It is testament to all our staff who have worked tirelessly to get the company where it is today and with the launch of our nationwide regional partner network we have high expectations for the future.”

Earlier this year, O-bit made it on to the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 for the third year running, adding to its existing Real Business Hot 100 2008 and Deloitte Fast 50 and Fast 500 2008 accolades.

O-bit Telecom offers businesses a full range of telecoms products and services through a network of resellers and partners. This includes voice services such as SMS, non geographic numbers, conferencing solutions and VoIP; and data services including broadband, hosting, leased lines and VPNs
