Azlan Plans To Open Up Potential For Avaya Resellers

Distributor Azlan has signed a distribution agreement with AdvaTel, an Avaya DevConnect Partner and publisher of InTouch software, a unified communications (UC) add-on for Avaya IP Office that is ideal for use by small and medium-sized businesses.

The agreement opens up more potential for Avaya resellers in the SME market by providing them with a powerful, feature-rich yet affordable UC solution that can be easily deployed alongside Avaya IP Office solutions.

AdvaTel’s InTouch solution is specifically designed to address the needs of smaller organisations. It enables small business users to communicate with internal and external contacts across multiple platforms via telephony, Microsoft Outlook, Skype, MSN, Yahoo and OCS/Lync. It also provides two-way presence and single click access to email, dialling SMS, IM and pounce (immediate notification when a user has become available) and call-back functionality. This enables users to be located quickly and easily wherever they are working, enhancing productivity and responsiveness and reducing cost.

AdvaTel has recently released InTouch version 3.0, which is fully DevConnect certified for latest version 7.0 of Avaya IP Office. New features in this new edition include Intelligent Quick Dial capability, which enables dialling of embedded numbers in e-mail signatures, Word documents and websites and full compatibility with Outlook 2010, Importantly for the European market, InTouch version 3.0 provides users with option of selecting English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese at time of installation.
