The new appointments are part of Azzurri Communications’ long-term growth strategy, with the aim of further accelerating the managed services company to the forefront of the converged communications industry. Gordon Matthew, CEO, who joins from RedSky IT with over 25 years experience in the industry, explains: “ICT is increasingly regarded as instrumental in facilitating innovation, efficiency, and contributing to bottom line profit. Currently chief operating officer and an executive director of LogicaCMG, Jim McKenna brings a wealth of relevant industry experience to his role as Chairman. In his 14-year career at LogicaCMG he helped lead a significant transformation of the group from 3,000 employees in 1993 to 39,000 people today.
