Barclay Communications’ Royal Race Evening

Top Northern Ireland golfer, Darren Clarke, and business men and women from around the UK attended Barclay Communications’ seventh annual Down Royal Race Evening on Friday 28 May.

Along with nearly three thousand race visitors, Barclay Communications also entertained 450 VIP guests in their large corporate suite at Northern Ireland’s premier race course.

Britt Megahey, managing director of Barclay Communications, commented on the evening: “The race evening is our biggest event of the year and it gives us the opportunity to say thank you to all our partners and clients for their support over the last twelve months.”

Within Barclay Communications’ VIP area their exclusive guests enjoyed professional massages, Wii games, dinner, drinks, a seven strong race card and musical entertainment.

Megahey added: “The race evening is a great way for the team to build strong relationships with our clients, plus it puts the Barclay Communications name and what we do in front of a whole new pool of potential customers.”

This year Barclay also held a SMS text competition, which gave race attendees the opportunity to win a £50 bet on the last race.

While winners from Barclay Communications’ VIP ticket competition (which was held on their website two months prior to the event) were also welcomed into the corporate suite.

With big growth plans and strategies in place for the next couple of years, Barclay Communications are intending to continue holding their annual race evening and to carry on making big headlines in the telecommunications industry.
