Barclay Communications topped O2’s Centre of Excellence partner league table. Their return to O2’s ‘Top Partner’ slot is a direct result of their growing affiliation with O2 and their mobile products.
Adrian McCourt Director of B2B telecommunications company, Barclay Communications, comments on the results:
“Over the last year we have really upped our commitment and investment in the O2 brand. Our team has expanded, and we have created more specialised customer service departments for our clients. This result is a real credit to our teams’ hard work, and our new clients trust in our reputable service.”
To calculate the partner league table, O2 measures all COE partners’ new connections, Bolt Ons, ARP and churn and Barclay Communications’ numbers were top of the table and therefore demonstrated a superb level of service to their new & existing clients.
Maggie Kennedy, Head of O2 Partnerships, praised Barclay Communications commitment to the Centre of Excellence programme:
“Barclay Communications is a Centre of Excellence partner which leads in voice, data and customer service. Its business ethos is the same as that of O2 – in turning customers into fans and this is evident throughout the account”.
To Barclay Communications’ surprise, the iPhone topped their new connections, knocking RIM’s BlackBerry smartphone down to number two, and Nokia to number three. Interesting results considering they only serve business customers.
Barclay and O2 have been working together since 2004, and in May of this year signed a landmark deal, which gave Barclay Communications the opportunity to manage all O2 directly acquired NI SME clients. Now that Barclay Communications have achieved another ‘Top Partner’ result this decision is endorsed.
This year Barclay Communications has won a number of awards from Mobile News, Comms Business, Mobile Industry, Deloitte and the British Chambers. However these new financial results put their business success on a new level, opening more expansion opportunities for their business.
