“Trixbox has been developed specifically for business applications by Fonality and is a very robust solution with a great front end that makes management of the system easy. In the event of a system failure its hybrid mode means that the system can be fully recovered and working within 30 minutes.
Features are comparable to a traditional PBX but it is priced at fifty per cent cheaper than a similar sized Cisco or Avaya system which means it is a big system with a small price. It is ideal for the smaller company but can scale up to 500 users.”
Sheikh says that he has around 60-70 systems already installed and that his company is looking to take on more resellers for the product and the other services his company can supply.
“Margins to resellers are 20% and we offer great application bundles for the channel which includes phones, broadband and minutes. Aastra and Polycom IP phones are supplied and resellers also get a share of the broadband revenues.
We supply 24meg broadband which means that users can save money by cancelling their lines and integrating their voice and data communications on to one network.”
