Mr Tucker has taken over the reins from Mike Rea, a position he had held since 1994, in which time Borri has experienced spectacular growth, becoming one of the top UK suppliers of UPS solutions in many key industry sectors including security, maintenance, the emergency services, data centres and telecoms.
With over 13 years’ experience within the business, Mr Tucker has extensive industry and product knowledge and is extremely well placed to continue to build on the company's solid foundations, outstanding support service and excellent equipment build. He already has plans in the pipeline aimed at driving the company towards more growth.
Keen to inject a fresh approach to the business, Mr Tucker will be working in tandem with Borri's sales director Mark Trolley, who has served with the company for 11 years, to spearhead new innovative campaigns to help break into more diverse markets and develop existing ones.

The company's success, both in the UK and overseas, has been achieved through an aggressive expansion strategy and a determined focus to constantly set new boundaries in the UPS industry, which most recently have been demonstrated by Borri's latest ECO UPS range and unique Smart OnLine technology.
In addition, Borri has recently recruited additional employees for both its core engineering and sales departments and has plans to continue to strengthen and invest in its workforce over the coming months, to deal with the increasing demand for its products.
Borri is the sole UK distributor for all of Borri S.p.A. UPS systems and has an extensive range of products and services including UPS installation and hire, battery replacement and disposal, generator specification, load bank testing and electrical surveys.
