BroadSoft Extends Customisation

Hosted IP telephony platform vendor BroadSoft has introduced the BroadWorks Deployment Studio 13.0, a desktop tool that allows service providers to differentiate and pre-configure their services through several BroadWorks VOIP application offerings, BroadWorks Assistant, BroadWorks Assistant - Enterprise toolbars and BroadWorks Receptionist.

The management and control capabilities of the BroadWorks Deployment Studio allow service providers to scale their service offerings in an automated process, eliminating the need for individual users to manually perform intricate processes, such as updating the desktop applications. Management that takes place transparently helps the provider deliver the most beneficial service, building user loyalty by making the service an indispensable part of the end users' day to day communications.

Using the new BroadWorks Deployment Studio, service providers can customize the look and feel of their desktop applications with branding, service names, colors and operational features. This tool provides options to enable or disable service buttons, configure custom templates, and modify features, network and security settings.

"With its breadth of customization and control options, the BroadWorks Deployment Studio allows service providers to deliver a unique market solution that is simple for the end user to use with transparent management," said Scott Wharton, vice president of marketing. "The BroadWorks Deployment Studio is the latest in our growing line of high-value BroadSoft tools that offer service providers a menu of options to create top quality, easily managed and differentiated client applications that will become an integral part of their users' communications experience."
