C2000 to stage next SME Training Weekend at Alton Towers

Computer 2000, the UK arm of Tech Data, is expecting more than 120 delegates to attend its next SME Training Weekend, which takes place on the 26th and 27th of April 2008, at the Alton Towers theme park near Uttoxeter in Staffordshire.

The event will provide resellers with the opportunity to benefit from a series of intensive solutions sales training sessions, delivered by vendor experts, and to see new products demonstrated at first hand. Key vendor partners taking part in the Alton Towers SME Training Weekend include Canon, Cisco and Linksys, HP, NETGEAR, Samsung, SonicWALL and VMWare.

The training forum will cover some of the key growth categories of the market, including one on virtualisation hosted by VMWare and another on convergence opportunities with small businesses, being run jointly by Cisco and Linksys. HP meanwhile will focus on current opportunities in the server and print markets.

Maverick Presentation Products will be running a session on audiovisual solutions there will be another on mobile data, delivered by Brightstar. In addition, Computer 2000 will be hosting a special presentation its e-business systems, which resellers can use to streamline their order processing and reduce costs.

Other sessions will focus on up-selling and cross-selling opportunities, and on add-ons and consumables for print, helping resellers to understand how they can increase the revenue and profit potential of every sale.
