Call Clarity Drives Headset Sales for Nimans

Think clear is the message from distributor Nimans who are experiencing a sales boom in the headset market as the latest technology improves call clarity and raises efficiency for end users.

According to Headset Business Manager, James Burns, maximising productivity is becoming more important for businesses who need to boost worker output in difficult trading times - fuelling revenue streams for dealers.

“Wireless headsets and digital headsets used with digital audio processors increase agent productivity considerably by generating clearer calls,” James observed. “Users don’t have to repeat themselves which reduces talk time, gives a more professional experience and delivers greater customer satisfaction. This also results in less stress for agents therefore helping to cut attrition rates in contact centres. Wireless headsets also promote multi-tasking and sales are growing at about 25% per year here.”

But it’s not just the wireless market that dealers should be aware of, as Nimans predicts high demand for a next generation VoIP-ready corded headset from Plantronics. The new EncorePro features wideband audio and a sliding microphone boom with noise cancelling technology for excellent voice quality.

Burns says the new headset is available in monaural and binaural versions and is aimed at agents working in high end contact centres as well as office professionals. The headset is adjustable in seven places, whilst large earpieces ensure maximum comfort and performance as part of a lightweight unobtrusive design.

“The EncorePro is a professional grade corded device which represents the next step forward in headset technology,” added James. “It benefits from wideband technology to deliver more natural sounding, clearer speech, enhancing the user’s listening experience.”
