Centile demonstrates FMC security prowess at Channel Live

Unified Comms
Centile and Transatel have announced that they will be demonstrating the Security-as-a-Service capability that underpins their new FMC solution in the UK, protecting users accessing the EE Network.

The two companies, who first announced their UK relationship last September, will be exhibiting together on booth #552 at this year’s Channel Live in Birmingham, September 11-12 to share how the solution has evolved.

The solution enables service providers to create customisable and mobile-focused packages for their customers. It also provides users with advanced fixed mobile convergence (FMC), giving them full, seamless access to information and communications, regardless of device, network or apps. Via Transatel, customers have access to the EE network, recently named the UK’s best-performing network.

Justin Hamilton-Martin, Regional Associate Director for Centile Telecom Applications, commented “The past year has really seen interest in ‘mobile-focused’ and FMC grow in the UK. Our joint ‘mobile first’ and ‘FMC-in-a-box’ technology solutions are based on two powerful ingredients: Centile’s ISTRA Cloud PBX Solution, which provides sophisticated, flexible IP based UC; and Transatel’s market-proven MVNO platform, backed by its extensive support and R&D resources. With the Security-as-a-Service overlay, this is a simple and safe way to step into this very attractive mobile space. The ARPU and customer-retention levels are very appealing to resellers and we are seeing significant interest from the market.”

The past 12 months have also seen the growth of Centile’s business in the UK, with new service provider customers including Pure Cloud Solutions and Just Telecomms. This summer, Centile also announced its acquisition by Swyx and Within Reach Group, making it a giant European provider of UCaaS technology, already serving over two million users in the region.
