Chess has given away a luxury holiday worth £2000 at their December Christmas Conference to one of its people.

The eventual winner was Jason Curren, part of Chess’ Great Customer Services team who commented, “I’m absolutely flabbergasted at winning this fantastic prize. I have been saving up with my girlfriend for a long time to enjoy a holiday break but we can now go on our dream holiday for free thanks to Chess!

The competition to win the luxury holiday was announced earlier in June at Chess’ Summer Conference, with their people trying to gain as many Gimme5 balls as possible that go into a giant tube with a winner picked out at the conference. Gimme5 balls are given out by colleagues for several reasons including exceeding customer expectations and benefiting the culture of the company to name just a few. By the time of the draw over 4,000 balls had been given out.

Stephen Dracup, Managing Director at Chess Commented, “We’re committed to providing a great place for our people to work and believe in rewarding their efforts. There aren’t many businesses out there at the moment that are giving away holidays worth thousands of pounds to their people!

Chess also had a 2nd place prize giving away a £1000 holiday won by Stuart Webster from their New Business team.
