Chess put Customer Service First

Chess celebrated ‘National Customer Service Week’ earlier this month, raising awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays in successful business practice.

Chess, the first telecoms company to win a ‘Customer First’ award, made a number of exciting announcements throughout Customer Service Week including the launch of a customer holiday giveaway to Paris and the introduction of a new company wide benefit which was voted for from a shortlist of potentials including ‘Duvet days’ and ‘Birthday holidays’. The week was then finished with a charity ‘super-hero’ themed dress down day with games, raffles and prizes to raise funds for the East Cheshire Hospice.

David Pollock, Chief Executive of Chess stated “It’s part of our culture to exceed customers’ expectations and Customer Service Week is always a great way to celebrate the energy, enthusiasm and passion our people provide to our customers and their experiences with us. We’re lucky to work in a fast moving, dynamic, growth industry where providing outstanding customer service is a challenge that we embrace. We believe that happy people make happy customers and we go out of our way to make sure Chess is a great place to work.”
