Chess Releases Broadband to Channel

Chess Telecom has launched its new high speed V@lue Broadband product to Wholesale and SMARTER Partners enabling them to corner the business market in terms of price, availability and quality.

Chess launched their V@lue broadband product that starts at just £6.99 per month to customers in December. Since it hit the market Chess had its best December ever for sales and now it is delighted to be able to release the product for SMARTER Partners and resellers to sell.

“The price of our business broadband to customers has come down from £17.99 to £6.99 and wholesale Partners can buy it at just £5.99,” Chief Executive David Pollock explained. “This is a huge saving and businesses would be crazy not to consider switching to Chess.”

Chess is committed to the continued growth and success of its wholesale and dealer channels. It offers a range of options from SMARTER Partner to Wholesale Reseller, with a host of benefits and varying support solutions. These are designed to give Chess partners a competitive edge, provide an unbeatable customer experience and maximise sales, as well as the value of every sale for the partner.

The company says all their partner propositions offer unrivalled support with a dedicated field based account manager and office based sales support team, bespoke marketing support and ongoing training in its complete range of products, services and systems including access to WLR3.

Chess Telecom also provides Partners with a constant stream of fresh incentives and offers specifically designed to fit the changing needs of the channel, the most recent of which gives resellers and dealers the chance to earn up to 500 per cent upfront cash commission on fixed line and broadband deals.

“We wanted to launch an aggressive commissions offer to target PBX, IT and mobile dealers whose commodities are largely cash generative and somewhat diminished in the current climate,” explained Sales Director Warren Pryer at the time of its launch. “The Contract Killers Scheme helps Partners mitigate any short term losses by paying upfront cash for fixed line contracts. This fits well with the business models of dealers in these sectors.”

Wholesale Partners also have the option to bureau bill their customers with Chess. This enables them to access big savings on a range of products and services and bill them to customers in different ways. The launch of V@lue broadband, for example, available to Wholesale Partners from £5.99, gives them the option to bundle lines and calls, making money on this, and give broadband away for free.

The success of Chess’ Partner Programme and products like V@lue broadband means business is booming for Chess and it recently had to increase its telephone line capacity by fifty per cent in order to meet demand from customers looking to reduce the cost of essential overheads and partners wanting to boost sales.

“We are really focusing on developing our channel and wholesale partners in 2009,” said David Pollock. “We have built up a comprehensive range of reasons for telecoms dealers and resellers to work with Chess. We launched our £6.99 V@lue Broadband in December and we had our best December ever. Now we are delighted to release it to SMARTER and Wholesale Partners.

Chess was born in a recession and I always look for opportunity in adversity. There has never been a better time to be in the business of saving customers money and SMARTER Partners and Wholesale Resellers that react to customer demand by providing value for money products will no doubt be able to use the current economic climate to their considerable advantage.”
