Cisco Systems said it has awarded Chief Executive John Chambers a year-end incentive bonus of $1.3 million.
The Internet-networking company said in a filing Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it also awarded year-end bonuses to Chief Financial Officer Dennis Powell ($610,470) and Chief Development Officer Charles Giancarlo ($646,380)
Cisco said it awarded the year-end bonuses because the company satisfied the targets for the payment of such incentives under its Professional and Leadership Incentive Plan. The company didn't specify the targets.
Cisco earned $5.6 billion on $28.5 billion in revenue in the fiscal year that ended in July. Its shares fell 6.6 percent during the year.
