IT support specialist Comms-care recently announced the successful implementation of a Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) solution across a global Wide Area Network (WAN).
Working on behalf of their channel partner MCI Diventi, Comms-care provided a solution that deployed a Cisco WAAS execution to optimise and accelerate application traffic that traversed the existing WAN throughout the client’s global offices. The client, a major manufacturing company, had offices spanning 5 continents including Europe, USA, Australia, Africa and Asia. The deployment required the installation and configuration of Cisco networking equipment in the UK along with remote configuration of equipment in their other international offices.
