Comms-care Reaches ‘Top Gear’

Comms-care recently participated in the Cisco Noseball Rally to help raise funds for Comic Relief. The event, which was a mini version of the ‘Gumball’ rally started at Cisco’s offices in Feltham where around 25 cars registered to take part in a rally that spread across Surrey, Berkshire and Greater London with a stop off at the famous ‘Top Gear’ race track.

Comms-care entered a team of 3 cars into the Cisco Noseball Rally which consisted of representatives from Comms-care and some of their Customers. A donation of £1000.00 was made from Comms-care to Cisco which went towards their accumulating Comic Relief fund. The first half of the day was spent following a pre-assigned route across the south which included a pit stop at the renowned ‘Top Gear’ race track. The stop allowed everyone to push their cars to the limit by experiencing the same track as Top Gears featured ‘Star in a reasonably priced car’ track and a top speed run on the main runway usually graced by Clarkson, Hammond and May. The route then took you through various villages and towns during the afternoon and eventually leading you back to the offices at Cisco.

“We often get involved with charitable events here at Comms-care as it is an enjoyable way to raise money for good causes and it gives us a chance to interact with our customers in a relaxed environment. Cisco always organise high standard events and this one was no different as it was a really entertaining day for all of those who attended.” Explains Scott Yates, Managing Director, Comms-care.

Almost an extra £1000.00 was generously donated by Comms-care employees for Red Nose Day which in turn was further matched by the company. The employees donations were rewarded with prizes such as extra holidays and a day in various high performance sports cars.
