Communications Group Keep Faith with the Chiefs

Exeter based South West Communications Group have confirmed their long-term commitment to Exeter Chiefs rugby club with a seven-figure deal over the next three years which will carry the club’s main sponsorship arrangement into the new era of rugby when the club relocate to the new purpose built stadium at Sandy Park, hopefully to coincide with their promotion to the Guinness Premiership.

The current contract between club and sponsor still had a year to run but South West Communications wanted to show their support for the Chiefs by committing them at an early stage to help the transition to the new stadium and a new regime of full-time rugby.

Harry Langley, the commercial director at South West Communications and a former Exeter player said: “This is the 12th consecutive year the company has been the Chiefs main sponsor and we are delighted to continue in this role.

“As a company, we have grown significantly in recent years in the same way that the Chiefs have progressed year on year.

“In a recent survey, South West Communications Group was placed in the Top 50 fastest growing businesses in the South West and we are going from strength to strength. We strongly identify with the Chiefs continued success and we share many of the same individual and group values of commitment, teamwork, personal application, focus and ambition.

“We are with the Chiefs every step of the way to the Premiership.”

South West Communications Group now employs 120 staff providing telecommunications solutions, Internet hosting services, broadband and call routing to major UK businesses and has recently expanded in to the service office accommodation sector having developed a suite of units at Matford Business Centre in Exeter providing offices, reception and switchboard services with secure broadband connections.
