ControlCircle and Brocade team up to accelerate cloud adoption

ControlCircle has been recognised by Brocade as a Premier Partner for its successful network solution and ability to drive cloud adoption.

In response to the access and networking challenges of cloud computing, ControlCircle has created an IBGP network. Based on Brocade Ethernet Fabric, the network enables fast and reliable access to mission critical applications which ControlCircle hosts.

The partnership will kick off with a ‘Cloud in Control’ educational seminar, in conjunction with 451 Research, to outline ways in which cloud security, cost and scalability hurdles can be overcome. The seminar will also see the launch of a jointly-developed enterprise, on-demand cloud infrastructure.

“Cloud strategies are being adopted by users at an incredible rate, they are familiarising themselves with what cloud computing is, and how it delivers flexibility and reduces costs,” comments Alan Murphy, Marketing Manager, Brocade. “We are keen to recognise ControlCircle as a premier partner, its value and contribution to the industry is a driving force to the future of cloud adoption.”

"In addition to our service offering, our customers can now benefit from our enhanced user capabilities due to the Brocade partnership," comments Carmen Carey, ControlCircle, CEO. “However, feedback from discussions with CIOs show that whilst benefits of the cloud are well documented around cost, flexibility and ability to scale, there are still some major concerns regarding the lack of control organisations have over their infrastructure. Working with Brocade, we aim to build flexible offerings and educational initiatives to help overcome these hurdles.”
