Corporate ICT Runner in the top 1% at the London Marathon!

Corporate ICT runner Chris Mowle, one of their Sales Consultants, successfully completed the 2008 Flora London Marathon on 13th April in 322nd place. Not only that, but in the process he also raised in excess of £3,000 for Cancer Research.

This year’s London Marathon was the third biggest since it began in 1981, with more than 34,000 people completing the race. So Chris’s placing of 322 puts him well into the top 1% of finishers, a very impressive result we’re sure you will agree!

The race winner, who also came first in 2005 and 2007, completed the 26 mile run in just over two hours and five minutes, so Chris’s time of two hours, 45 minutes and 18 seconds - just over 40 minutes longer - is a serious achievement.

Nick Wright, Managing Director of Corporate ICT, commented, “As a company Corporate ICT is always very pleased to support staff who take part in these types of sponsored activities. We are extremely proud of Chris and of his achievement - and the fact that he has also raised so much money for such a vital charity is also very impressive. We will have to see if we can encourage a few more of our staff to participate next year!”
