Corporate Telecommunications ‘Clicks’ with Aussie Headset Brand

Distributor Corporate Telecommunications is to distribute Australian headset brand Addcom in the UK.

The Addcom range is brand new to the UK and, says the distributor, has a firmly established international reputation for high quality, competitively priced headsets and telecommunications products.

James Clarke, Addcom product marketing manager, said, “Corporate Telecommunications are an ideal partner as they are a major distributor of headsets for the call centre and contact centre markets, but they also offer independent, impartial advice to the customer.”

The competitive pricing of the Addcom range enables dealers to improve their margins, without compromising on the quality of the products they offer. Moreover, compatibility issues are eliminated with the brand’s Geni lead, which enables an Addcom headset to be used with any telephone system which uses RJ11 headset ports. And, because Addcom is new to the UK, dealers have the opportunity to grow with the brand as it develops its market profile in this country.

Addcom headsets include the standard functions found in most market-leading brands, such as hi-fidelity speakers, adjustable microphone boom, noise cancelling microphone and a wide selection of styles and wearing options, but they also have some innovations of their own.

One of the most useful features is the ‘clickable’ microphone boom. This allows users to gently ‘click’ the fully adjustable boom into place once they have adjusted it for their own comfort. It means that the boom retains its position even when the headset is not being used, is put down on a desk or placed into a box or cupboard, and users do not have to re-position it every time they put it on.

Chan Bansal, business development manager at Corporate Telecommunications, said, “the quality of Addcom products is as good as the leading brands, but they are very competitively priced, so as well as enabling dealers to increase the range of high quality products they can offer their customers, they can improve their margins at the same time. It’s a great deal for both dealers and end-users alike.”
