In order to support the launch Crane are holding Reseller seminars in Manchester and Chertsey at the end of March.
Commenting on the launch, Ian Hyde, Marketing Manager of the Crane-Samsung business unit stated, “We are delighted to be launching and introducing the system to our channel. The 7100 is available with a range of new daughterboard options that offer more flexible system configurations, in addition, the Media Gateway capability of the system is integrated into the main processor enabling the system to be supplied as an ‘out of the box’ converged solution for VoIP telephony with IP handsets.
The 7100 also supports SIP trunks and fully integrates with both the 7200 and 7400, deploying the same range of features, handsets and applications. The introduction of the 7100 will enable our Resellers to offer a truly converged, flexible and compelling proposition to the sub 32 extension market.”
