CTI Group gets Cisco seal of approval

CTI Group, the provider of fixed, mobile and hosted call management and call recording applications, today announced that its Proteus VoIP Quality Management System (QMS) solution has passed Cisco's stringent Interoperability Verification Testing (IVT) requirements.

CTI Group's call management tool, designed to monitor and manage calls made over VoIP networks now comes with official certification for the latest offering; Cisco Unified Communication Manager 7.0 (CUCM). This latest accreditation promises to further re-affirm CTI Group's position as a leader in the call management market.

CTI Group's Proteus VoIP QMS solution can be used by businesses to identify and eliminate unnecessary telecom expenditure, manage employee productivity, stop employee telephony misuse and identify calls unanswered by key groups such as sales. As the VoIP market begins to flourish, Proteus VoIP QMS goes beyond standard call logging and management by proactively monitoring and reporting on the performance of a VoIP network. The solution has already successfully been implemented together with Cisco's offering at several global sites including Harvey Nichols in the UK.

Ideal for resellers looking to expand their VoIP offering, particularly within the SME market, Proteus VoIP QMS equips resellers with an additional 'signup' tool, enabling them to reassure customers about the quality of the VoIP calls delivered. The solution provides extensive call management functionality including high-quality, real-time, graphical monitoring of Quality of Service (QoS) and call information such as jitter, latency, packet-loss, Mean Opinion Source (MOS), call count, average call duration and bandwidth use.

By introducing Proteus VoIP QMS at the initial stage of implementation, resellers can highlight immediately any degradation in calls and confirm that the service quality is of optimum standard; encouraging customers to commit to a long-term investment in their full service offering.

Andy Wilson, VP Sales and Marketing at CTI Group, commented: "We are delighted to have passed Cisco's Interoperability Verification Testing.

This accreditation illustrates just how robust and useful our VoIP management offering is to the wider reseller community. By reaffirming our commitment to the Cisco channel, we will open more doors on a global scale for the CTI Group and become a driving force in Cisco's penetration of the SME market."
