Customer Service Week 2012: O-bit

MSPs
Customer Service Week is an international event devoted to recognising the importance of customer service and the vital role it plays in successful business practice and growth. It is an opportunity to honour the people who support customers with the highest degree of care and professionalism….. Customer Service teams!

This week proved a perfect opportunity for O-bit telecom and CEO Dave Breith to show their appreciation to their customer service team and celebrate their dedication and hard work. A celebratory breakfast of eggs and bacon butties began the customer service week and the marketing team created posters and banners to decorate the team’s office area. Friday was a day of games and competitions for the team to relax and have a bit of fun whilst the rest of O-bit cheered them on. Messy milkshake and doughnut games were followed by a movie buff quiz and the unfortunate loser of each game entered the stocks for a sponging by the rest of the team. The week came to a close with a party at the GreyHound Bar in Beaconsfield where members of other O-bit departments joined the customer service team for an evening of food and drink.

Resellers were also given the opportunity to show their appreciation and support for the O-bit Customer Service team and took part in a voting competition for their “Favourite Customer Service team member”. Voting took part throughout the week and Operations Manager Shad Vasudevan announced the results Friday afternoon. Kim Thompson won the competition with 23% of the votes and was awarded with a four course lunch at Gordon Ramsay’s Claridge’s restaurant in London. Karl Alexander, Tom Seddon and James Montague all came joint second and Dan Phillips was voted into third position.

Shad Vasudevan, comments, “our Services team consistently put in the hard work day in day out so this event was great for everyone to acknowledge the outstanding service they provide for our customers.”
