Daisy Takes Top Partners to Barbados

Thirteen top distribution partners of Daisy Group’s leading digital products have been rewarded with a four-day all expenses paid trip to Barbados.

The winners of a hard-fought six-month sales incentive took part in a luxury catamaran cruise, water sports and sight-seeing after collectively clocking-up over 1,000 sales of Samsung mobile devices, O2 and Vodafone mobile connections and other solutions from Daisy’s range of 12 transformational ‘dots’, including business lines, calls and broadband.

The incentive, which ran between October last year and March this year, attracted 115 entries – a quarter of Daisy Group’s entire distributor base.

An interactive Daisy Group micro website was created to provide those taking part with a real-time leader board, together with helpful support, tips and promotions designed to maximise the sales opportunity.

The top-achieving 12 distributors, plus one ‘wild card’, ranged from Daisy’s largest distribution partner Focus Group to its smallest and newest, KIS Technologies – who only formed and became a Daisy partner in November last year.

All those on the trip had benefitted from Daisy’s partner sales academy – an innovative and free in-house training programme which equips distribution partners and their salesforces with the knowledge and expertise to sell all of Daisy’s products and services.

Marketing Director of Daisy Group’s Distribution division Julien Parven said: “The incentive scheme was a huge success for everyone and the four days we all had together in Barbados were fantastic. The success of the scheme proves our strong belief that the distribution partner model remains very exciting and that we are at the forefront of its continued growth. It also showed how we can deliver real value to our partner network, not only by staging incentives such as this, but also by providing the kind of training and support which helped all 13 deliver the success which qualified them for the trip. Our distribution partners are Daisy dealers but they are also Daisy customers too. If they are winning, it means we are winning too, and that is a very special relationship to have. We had a great time together, sharing business ideas as well as the sunshine and fabulous Barbados hospitality. I now look forward to staging our next incentive – and finding the next big winners!”
