Daisy Unveils New Product and Marketing Team

daisy has unveiled a dynamic duo that is set to unleash a host of cutting edge products to the channel.

The company’s product team has been bolstered by the addition of product and marketing managers Nick Pike and Cathryn Whitefoot who, between them, have more than 25 years of experience in the fold.

The pairing has a varied history in the product and marketing field. While Cathryn boasts business-to-business (B2B) manufacturing experience, Nick brings with him a history of working within the IT industry.

Both are looking forward to taking daisy’s already extensive product set forward, and introducing new offerings to business partners and resellers.

Prior to joining the business, Cathryn was marketing manager for GWI, a home-wares manufacturing company, based in Burnley. Since arriving at daisy she has taken on responsibility for enhancing daisy’s broadband products, and is so far enjoying the challenge.

She said: “The market daisy operates in is evolving rapidly, particularly the enhancements in broadband. It’s fascinating to be working with such progressive technology and being able to work to bring it to a new audience.”

Meanwhile, with previous experience with Equanet and the B2B arm of Dixons Stores Group, Nick is concentrating on the advancements in voice and data, and is relishing helping daisy break new ground with these methods growing ever more popular in the communications market.

“Since joining daisy I’ve been given opportunity to explore and develop a range of products that will allow daisy to bring a host of converged technology to the channel. It’s an exciting marketing to be working in and I’m looking forward to the challenge of working for such a focused and successful telecoms provider.”

daisy’s director of sales, Mark Hickey, said the recruitment of Cathryn and Nick underpinned the company’s ambition to be a true provider of communications.

“The company is now in a position to develop previously unexplored products and the team we have recruited is making major inroads into developing voice and data offerings of a standard not yet seen. The next few months are going to see significant product launches, all of which I’m sure will be lucrative for our partner channel.”
