Data Select announces World Cup Ticket winner

In April, Data Select (DSL) launched ‘Escape to Victory’ with Nokia, an exclusive customer incentive offering buyers of Eseries handsets the chance to see England play in the World Cup.

After two months of competitive purchasing, DSL has announced that CBS Communication Centres successfully qualified for the reward and jetted out to join thousands of England fans for the USA match in Rustenburg on Saturday.

The all expenses paid trip for two included all flights, 18 day’s five star accommodation and entry to all three England group matches.

Markus Hankinson, managing director at CBS, said: “I’d like say a big thank you to all at Nokia and Data Select for this superb prize. CBS have been in the DSL Platinum club since it’s inception and have always got involved in the promotions – so it’s even better to be a winner and perhaps more so when it is such a superb prize! Thank you again.”

Escape to Victory was the biggest distributor World Cup promotion that has taken place, offering dealers the chance to win England Shirts, Football Tables and other football related prizes.

“It’s been a great promotion,” commented Jason Kemp, head of marketing at Data Select. “Everyone is football mad at the moment and over 200 dealers have taken part in Escape to Victory.
