Following on from the success of its mobile broadband dongles and ODM handsets for network operators, Huawei is entering the mobile device market as a brand in its own right.

Data Select will be offering Huawei’s Android smartphones and an internet tablet, which will all be available through Data Select from August.
The internet tablet is a direct competitor for Apple’s newly launched iPad but will retail at close to £329 in 3G format. Based on the Android operating system and following on from the success of netbooks, the tablet is an exciting proposition.
