DeTeWe UK Rebrands to Become Communio Networks

DeTeWe UK, the UK telecoms reseller, formerly the UK arm of Deutsche Telephonwerke AG & Co KG has announced that its new name will be Communio Networks. The re-branding follows the acquisition of the company by Nadahl Shocair, CEO DeTeWe UK and Directing Strategist, DeTeWe AG & Co, which was announced in July 2005. Nadahl Shocair acquired DeTeWe Group Ltd and its associated subsidiaries, which include DeTeWe Ltd (UK) through his privately held investment vehicle.

Since Shocair's appointment, DeTeWe UK has been consistently profitable, growing its blue-chip customer base which includes FirstInfo, BhS, Geest and The Home Office, as well as overseeing the launch of a raft of successful new products and services, notably in the IP telephony market. Under its new, forward-thinking brand, the company say they are confident of consolidating its leading position in the UK market.

Shocair said of the re-brand: "I am pleased to announce our new name - Communio Networks - which heralds an exciting new phase for us as a company. With our new identity in place, we believe that we are well positioned to consolidate on the strong growth we've seen in the last two to three years.

"Communio means the union of community through communications. The name was chosen to reflect the passion and commitment that we will be delivering to all of our customers in the years to come."
