Entanet to Demonstrate Pioneering Strategy to UK’s Northern Channel

Entanet will use this year’s Convergence Summit North exhibition to help northern-based channel resellers understand how they can benefit directly from its pioneering investment in 21CN infrastructure.

The fact that Entanet remains the only non-BT company to have extended its UK network to every one of the 20 ‘nodes’ that form BT21CN and the only one to have fully adopted both Wholesale Broadband Connect (WBC) and IPStream Connect over a year after their release is a clear demonstration to resellers of Entanet’s commitment to leading its peers with next generation services.

The company’s Head of Marketing, Darren Farnden, says that the company’s strategy aims to give its partners real advantages in a competitive market. “Our early adoption of WBC has placed us and our channel partners in a unique position. In July 2008, Entanet became the first provider to launch 21CN-based ADSL2+ services that provided our partners with a distinct competitive edge and one that has become more valuable as the roll-out of 21CN has continued and services become available to a wider market. Additionally, in January 2009 we became the first provider to move our entire customer base to WBC consuming IPStream Connect, enabling us to operate via a single next generation network, which we have significantly expanded. However, 21CN is not just about broadband. Visitors to our stand will also learn how our extensive national next generation network can bring them closer to their customers’ enabling our partners to deliver high quality Ethernet solutions that are both reliable and cost-effective.”

Visitors to Entanet’s stand will also be able to learn all about the company’s feature-rich, multi-user and fully-hosted IP telephony offering, VoIP Enrich. They will see first-hand how easy it is to manage the entire solution via the secure online user portals. Potential Entanet partners will also discover how easy it is to work with Entanet and uncover the benefits of working with a leading voice and data communications provider. “Our partners choose how they want to work with us”, says Farnden. “They can cherry pick the connectivity services that best fit their customers’ requirements or they can provide complete connectivity solutions including line rental, broadband, hosting, VoIP and more.”

This will be the fourth consecutive year Entanet has exhibited at Convergence Summit North, where it will occupy stand 11. The event provides the communications provider with the opportunity to engage face-to-face with many of its existing and new potential partners and to nurture and develop new and existing channel relationships.
