Ericsson Team ‘Evolves’ at Nimans

Nimans has unveiled a new in-house business team to drive its Ericsson brand portfolio.

The distributor says it is primed to deliver even greater levels of customer service and product growth throughout 2007, building on its profile as the largest distributor of Ericsson equipment in the UK.

“We have a strategy and platform in place to build on what has been achieved so far and take everything to a new level of success,” explained Nimans’ new Ericsson Business Manager Ian Nuttall, who as a former reseller himself is ideally placed to understand and address the issues faced by the dealer channel.

More roadshows, innovative in-house events and dealer workshops will be just some of the ways Ian’s expanded team plans to ‘ramp up’ the Ericsson brand throughout 2007.

“These are exciting times for us and Ericsson with some impressive new product launches, such as the EMO mobile organiser, set to boost the brand’s overall appeal. When combined with our own plans this should significantly help us grow the channel. My aim is to double the amount of Ericsson resellers at Nimans.”

One of Ian’s first tasks was to showcase the latest Evolution telephone system at a series of informative trade roadshows. Evolution is a cost effective ‘solution in a box’ for SME’s that adds a serious alternative to any dealer’s system proposition. Ian pointed out that the user-friendly and practical technology can grow with the evolving needs of end users.

“The roadshows were very well received and we are planning to introduce many more in 2007 as they provide an ideal opportunity for us to grow our relationships with existing Ericsson dealers and encourage further resellers into the market.”

Ian has been working in the telecommunications industry for over 20 years and added: “I want to build and improve our dealer relationships and fully address the issues they face. I recognise the value of distributor support and the vital role it plays in helping a reseller grow his business. The key area for us is customer service and raising brand profile.”
