Essensys Win Services Contract at Bradford Business Park

Inspire Bradford Business Park has appointed IT and communications company essensys to provide all ICT and telecommunications services at the development, due to open in March 2012.

Founded in 2006, essensys is a provider of fully managed IT and communications services to serviced offices and flexible workspace environments. The company was selected for the project following a competitive tendering process between a number of IT providers, which was headed up by the Newlands Community Association (NCA), the community organisation based in East Bradford that owns and manages the business park.

Utilising a cloud computing platform called the essensysCloud, essensys will provide the business park with a wide range of ICT services, including superfast internet access and Mitel VOIP telephony, all of which will be available instantly on demand, providing the tenants at Inspire Bradford Business Park with a wealth of ICT capabilities.

Tenants at the business park will also benefit from JEFF, essensys’ management tool. JEFF is an automated system that enables provisioning of services, real-time billing, service guides and various other information that tenants may need.

Tony Holdich, chief executive of the NCA, said: “The appointment of essensys takes us a step further forward in the delivery of Inspire, which is a very exciting prospect. What set essensys apart from its competitors was its ability to deliver superfast, flexible services, which is a highly appealing attribute for businesses looking to relocate here.

“What’s more, these services are all delivered via a cloud computing platform, which meets with the green credentials of the business park perfectly as cloud computing is proven to be more energy efficient than regular network servers, as it eliminates the need for a server room and the hefty air conditioning equipment associated with keeping these rooms at the correct temperature.”
