Excel Retains 4th Spot in 2008 BSRIA Report

Excel Networking Solutions, the copper and optical cabling infrastructure provider has been listed as 4th in the UK market for copper structured cabling solutions for the 3rd year running by the BSRIA report.

BSRIA is a consultancy, test, instrumentation and research organisation, who provide specialist services in construction, building services and facilities management. They issue their report on the structured cabling market every year at this time.

The period of time sales value was measured over was for the 1st January 2008 to the 31st December 2008. Excel held 9% of the total market, hot on the heels of ADC Krone,

Brand-Rex and Systimax in 3rd, 2nd and 1st respectively. The report also shows Excel as the third largest supplier of copper cable, just 3% behind Systimax.
