The agreed deal will see Fone Logistics partner with 3 to launch the product to the industry and develop a channel into the target market, primarily builders’ merchants.

Tradesman will be rewarded with builders merchants’ gift vouchers specific to their industry as an incentive when connecting the handset.

The phone, which boasts features such as a torchlight and compass, is also ideal for extreme sports enthusiasts due to its durable features.

Fone Logistics’ sales and marketing director, Julien Parven, said: “I am delighted to announce that we will be partnering with 3 to launch the Samsung B2700, firstly to the construction market.

“The economic climate is, of course, affecting the way that people are spending their money, however the Samsung B2700 is sold at an extremely competitive price and the gift voucher for builders’ merchants will provide a great incentive for those purchasing the phone,” claimed Parven. “As well as being ideal for people working in construction, the phone will also useful be useful to lots of other people too so we are exploring all the options.”
