TTC is a successful Alcatel reseller that began trading in 1991 and now has over 500 established customers serviced by over 40 employees. The company also has a networking division and will continue to operate as a trading division of Freedom Communications ensuring that it is well placed to take advantage of Freedom’s growing portfolio of application skills.
Freedom Communications opened its doors in 1988 and grew from just over £1m in the early 1990s to achieve £10.28m gross revenues in the latest financial year ending April 2005. It is one of only a handful of £10m plus telecommunications specialists in the UK able to deliver and support multi-site telecoms installations.
Freedom is now firmly setting its sights on the LEV (large enterprise vertical) market with particular focus on the central and local government, retail and facilities management vertical markets.
Jack Osbourne, managing director for TTC summed up this acquisition: “I believe Freedom brings a level of investment and experience that will help us to maximise revenues with our existing customers as well as develop new ones. This acquisition marks the start of a new growth strategy for Freedom that will ensure we are well placed to take advantage of the converged communications and application arena.”
Freedom say they expect to announce further acquisitions in the near future.
