Freedom Introduces Netmosis

Reseller Freedom Communications has announced a strategic alliance with Magdalene and Networks by Wireless to deliver an alternative complete ‘networking solution’ to the market.

The company says this solution will, for the first time, offer customers a viable alternative to traditional carrier solutions. Supported by Alcatel-Lucent, this alliance brings together technologies from the three organisations, namely ‘communications applications’, ‘carrier service expertise’, and ‘WiMax and WiFi connectivity’ to deliver a complete hybrid solution that can realise significant cost savings or increase overall profitability.

There are many considerations when examining an organisations network, and many businesses find that the different types of technology available and the pace at which the market is evolving makes it difficult to assess appropriate solutions. The end result is too many proposals from too many different suppliers, offering very different solutions. Netmosis recognises that one size does not fit all when it comes to networking and infrastructure, and is able to pool significant expertise that provides a complete assessment of solutions available and can offer cost-effective solutions to meet the required return on investment.

The customer will benefit from this combined, unique to the market, experience, whilst accessing a range of options, which can be compiled to best suit customer requirements. In addition, a single point of contact eases supplier and procurement management and offers a cost-effective solution.

Netmosis is supported by Alcatel-Lucent. Andy King, Head of Strategic Industries, Northern Europe at Alcatel-Lucent, said, “Transforming communications offers significant benefits, whether its reducing cost, or delivering better services. This approach provides a one stop shop to transform communications infrastructure. Every customer is different; every network is unique - as are the applications that run on it. Tapping into the expertise spanning the three companies means organisations can truly exploit the advantages of next generation networks.”

Pat Botting, managing director at Freedom Communications said, “Netmosis has received a very positive response from the market, which validates the strength of our approach. We can take the pain out of networking infrastructure and help customers realise significant cost savings, which in turn allows IT teams to focus on business projects.”
