Frontier rewards resellers

Networks & Network Services
Frontier Voice and Data’s dealers and partners were treated to a fantastic all expenses paid trip to the ski resort of Flachau in Austria last month.

Throughout the entire trip the conditions were perfect with blue skies and excellent snow. Our own publisher, Miles Bossom, and sales director Paul Johnson, were luckily enough to join the party and experience the Frontier hospitality.

Johnson commented: “Peter Southgate and his team gave us all a superb experience although most of us came back with sore legs and even sorer heads!”

The ski trip followed significant increases in business volumes over the last quarter of 2008. Four Frontier channel partners qualified for the company’s all expenses paid skiing incentive trip. The successful dealers and Frontier hosts stayed at the prestigious SportWelt Amadé ski resort near Salzburg and enjoyed a range of winter sports including skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing in Austria’s premier ski resort.

With the start of the New Year, Frontier is also gearing up its operations as a reseller of BT Wholesale Calls services with bulk purchase of minutes from BT, using BT’s network to transport calls. This means there is no least cost routing or carrier pre select required, as the calls do not leave the BT network at the local exchange level.

Looking ahead to 2009, Peter Southgate, Frontier’s acting managing director, was in a bullish mood: “Having developed strategic alliances with the likes of BT, we go into 2009 offering a stronger proposition to all our existing and potential channel partners. As freedom of choice is paramount in attracting new customers for our dealers, we have built up a formidable portfolio of network providers and services, which I believe offer the greatest flexibility and the most competitive rates available to the channel. For mobile resellers looking to grow their businesses and expand into the fixed line space we have some fantastic opportunities and we will be targeting this sector throughout the coming year. Perhaps a Mobile Business reader will qualify for our 2010 trip.”
