Further Expansion for Inter-Group

North West based Inter-Group Communications Ltd. has announced a further addition to its expanding portfolio.

The company, which offers telecommunication solutions from simple telephone systems to sophisticated data networks, has bought Chrome Limited, a successful Yorkshire telecommunications company. Chrome was set up in 2004 by Mark Longley to meet the needs of businesses who now expect to be able to reach contacts anytime, anywhere in the world.

Mark says “It was important to ensure our loyal client base had access to current and emerging technology together with the excellent customer service they had come to expect from Chrome. Merging with Inter-Group Communications totally meets those expectations.”

Managing Director of Inter-Group Communications Cliff Barclay says ‘IGC has been in business in Southport since 1976 and is a significant player in the telecommunications industry. Adding Chrome to our portfolio means their clients will have access to a larger organisation offering a more specialised service with a quicker response time. Both companies complement each other. Together have an exceptional level of experience and expertise to offer.”

Inter-Group Communications also acquired South-West based Budd Communications in 2008 and is now well placed to service clients throughout the UK.
